I decided to go by the 50 year party for Sanrio over in Santa Monica a couple weekends ago. I guess I really had no idea what I was in for.
I could have done with out the crazy rides, games etc,.
But loved the art work

That being said, they did have a showing of some amazing art - which i loved. It was just all the other crazy kid stuff I was over in the first 5 minutes...

I also loved how some people got really into it by dressing up.
Gah! As a child I spent every bit of my money at Sanrio. Keroppi (the frog) was my favorite. Then I started to love Spotty Dotty. And, of course, I can't leave out Hello Kitty! What a fantastic event!! :)

Despite growing out of this, it does look really fun. The artwork is pretty cool and I'm really loving the grafiti.
