The Black Swan

I saw the new movie THE BLACK SWAN this weekend. Besides being drawn in by every aspect of this gorgeous film, my first thought was that I have a feeling that this spring there will be "dancer" looks everywhere. Pretty, easy to layer and completely wearable. Add those dainty Jamie Wolf earrings and necklace Natalie Portman was wearing in the film and you are set.

Loved the gorgeous pastels Natalie wore through out the film, but was even more intreguied by the black on black layers Mila Kunis had on. It seemed as if I was always craving more screen time for Mila so I could assess what she was wearing.

I also loved the costumes Rodarte did for the dance scenes (makes me want to buy a tutu!) as well as the white gown Natalie's character wears to her party.

This film was visually inspiring to me and I wish I could go back frame by frame and dissect all the looks.

By the way if anyone knows what over sized black bag Mila's character carried please let me know... Chanel perhaps?

Hi Cindy,

I am even more excited to see this film now. B and I are heading to Vegas today for a week and this movie is on our list. I am already excited for award season. Mila is indeed gorgeous and I share your girl crush, that grey scarf over the black ensemble is very simple but striking.

Hope yoa re surviving all this rain. our grounds are so saturated and our poor dogs need floaties during our walks.

Loved this movie! And I loved how you can tell that the costumes are Rodarte, but they fit the movie so well, they just blend...
