So right before the Oscars people started discovering new Banksy art work (as some of you may know, he was up for an Oscar for "Exit Through The Gift Shop") springing up in random places in LA. These are the only 3 left as of this past weekend. The others (sadly) have been stolen, had paint thrown on them, or just plain old destroyed. I know his work is that of a "street artist" and is "temporary" but it kills me that people ruin something like this so fast...
I am glad I got to see these in person - we ran into so many cool people at each location and had some great conversations about the whole thing. Exactly what art is supposed to do...

I'd love to see a Bansky picture in real life as well. He's so talented! I love these ones.
Banksy is brilliant and street art has always rocked. I am glad he as forged the way to make people take notice. So many talented artists that have been over looked in years past will hopefully get recognized as true artists and not vandals.
It's a shame so much has been ruined or gone already.
I also love he had no interest in attending the Oscars.
