Just discovered LF Stores. Have no idea what took me so long. They carry the best deconstructed tees, and tanks which I can not get enough of. The shoe selection is to die for and the best part is all the prices are great! Check out their lookbook below

You Know You Want It
ALDO and only $170 (and yes they are leather!) which is crazy as they were simply amazing and looked like $900 boots for sure. Sometimes things are just meant to be. And yes, I ran home and placed an order - did you really have to ask?

Olsens Do It Again
The Olsen twins are at it again with yet another clothing line - OLSENBOYE (where do they find the energy?) but this time its for J.C. Penny! Yeah I know, who would have thought? While I love The Row and their less expensive line, Elizabeth and James, I am not sure I will be rushing to Penny's to catch this one. They did a promotion in NYC where they had the Olsenboye truck park in various places and give- a -way pieces from the line. Mary Kate and Ashely were seen greeting people at one stop - all in all it looked like fun.

The New Face of Rock & Roll
Had the amazing opportunity to listen to 18 year old guitar sensation Tyler Bryant play last night at the Grammy Museum - the kid is insane! Robert Knight is a well known rock & roll photographer who discovered Tyler and this amazing movie, Rock Prophecies is about both their journeys in the music scene. Its a must see when it comes out!

Sequins - oh La La
Maybe you thought you couldn't wear sequin leggings or that they may be a bit too "glam" for you... Whatever the case, the rules have changed. Pair these fun leggings with a white tee and a shrunken black blazer and anything from converse sneakers to stilettos and you are ready to run out the door. Just a simple shoe change can take you from day to night.
Sequin leggings by La Rok $348 - available at Neiman Marcus
Black sequin leggings by Express $98
Roller Derby is Your Friend
We went to our first Roller Derby event this past weekend and all I have to say is WOW. These girls kick butt and do it because they LOVE IT. The LA Derby Dolls really makes an entire evening of it with bands, food, drinks and the the game. Even if you are a first timer people are more than willing to explain the game, pull you into the excitement and make sure you have a great time (which is not too hard). Here are the next 2 games coming up in November - make it out and support these girls!
Love it? They are always looking for "fresh meat" so sign up and try out - you could be the next Paris Killton or Killo Kitty.

Betsy Bloomingdale & the Haute Couture
The gorgeous book from the exhibit - featuring some of the gowns on display and their history
Two of my favorites - both by Givenchy - petals and feathers
Christian Dior gown with boned corset - on the right, the "Croquis" for Betsy's dress
Christian Dior Gowns
Dior on the left, Yves Saint Laurent on the right
Karl Lagerfield for Chanel dress. The tags Betsy used to tell her when + where a dress had been worn
Ian and I went to this amazing exhibit at FIDM Museum in Los Angeles that featured 60 of
Betsy Bloomingdale's Haute Couture ensembles from 1961 to 1996.
Show is up now through December 13.

Football Doesn't Define Me
I worked with the NFL Players Association awhile ago on this commercial, but I thought since football season is here I would post it anyway.

Alexander Wang Crush
Could Alexander Wang be any cuter and could his clothing be any hotter? Season after season I am
never dissapointed by him. Thinking I should head over to Barneys today to prview the
new AW 2010 Collection... But I am so trying to be "good".
