Art In The Streets

 

 

Needed a bit of inspiration this week so I checked out "Art in the Streets" at The Geffen Contemporary At Moca. It was amazing! I could have spent 4+ hours there looking all the insane art. So many different types of "street" art are shown - this post is photo heavy, but only shows a fraction of what you will see.

It ends August 8, so if you are in or near Los Angeles - don't miss it!

 FYI - FREE Mondays!!   British artist Banksy will sponsor free admission at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA every Monday for the duration of Art in the Streets. “I don’t think you should have to pay to look at graffiti. You should only pay if you want to get rid of it,” said Banksy.

Gotta love that dude!

The New Face of Rock & Roll

Had the amazing opportunity to listen to 18 year old guitar sensation Tyler Bryant play last night at the Grammy Museum - the kid is insane! Robert Knight is a well known rock & roll photographer who discovered Tyler and this amazing movie, Rock Prophecies is about both their journeys in the music scene. Its a must see when it comes out!
