Some behind the scenes shots from a bunch of different shoots I have been on recently. It seems like we always have a blast, get to shoot in some amazing places, and make beautiful images - life isn't too bad. 

And in case you are wondering about the pie photo... The creative director I work with in Dallas always has a key lime pie for us to eat before every big shoot - it's a tradition that he says brings good luck. And really, who says "no" to key lime pie at 8 AM? Not me. Thanks Ron!

Bethany Hamilton Shoot

Got to work with and style rad surfer, and shark attack survivor Bethany Hamilton a couple weeks ago in Malibu - always wanted to meet her so I was super stoked to be booked on this shoot by my friend and super cool photographer, Laura Doss.  People all over the world know Bethany's inspiring story and a few came up to her on the shoot just to tell her so. Bethany is not your average girl - just 3 weeks after the shark attack she was back in the water surfing, teaching herself to paddle and get up quickly with one arm. She is now a pro surfer and a total inspiration. The movie about Bethany's journey, "SOUL SURFER"  (Sony Pictures) hits theaters this April.
