Raquel Allegra, LD Tuttle and UnEarthen Sample Sales

Los Angeles had some great sample sales this past Friday. While everyone and their sister was at the Splendid Warehouse sale I went off the beaten track and headed over to some of my favorite and "less mainstream" designers sales and totally scored.

First stop, Raquel Allegra. Love her shredded tees, dresses and scarves. I went a little crazy as the prices were so amazing and you really can never have enough of her clothes.

Raquel was there in person and I was able to chat with her which was very cool. I have been buying her pieces for many years - back to the time when she was only sold in Maxfields. Years ago she made me a custom shredded tee and when it arrived she had sewn my name in the label inside - that's when I absolutely knew this designer is not only amazing but a class act. I have been lucky enough to attend two of her fashions shows over the years and I always come away totally inspired.

I also scored a pair of rad LD Tuttle boots and a necklace by another one of my fav jewelry designers - UnEarthen.

It was an amazing day.
