I got the most wonderful surprise for my birthday from my rad friends, Gillian and Jesse. You may remember from past blog posts that Gillian is the lead singer of The Devil Cats and Jesse makes insanely rad jewelry. Absolutely the coolest couple you will ever meet.

They surprised me with this burnished sterling silver cross ring that Jesse custom made for me - I think they got tired of hearing me whine  about the cheap F21 cross ring that I didn't get - So they decided to make me something similar but WAY nicer with some Jesse inspiration added to it - like his signature gemstone on the end and the burnished finish - it is frigging RAD!

The Devil Cats

You may remember my post awhile back about ultra cool girl with style, Gillian who does make -up on most of my shoots. Gillian is also one of the lead singers of THE DEVIL CATS, an all girl band made up of 6 talented chicks who all work in the film/tv industry in some way. They already have a CD out on itunes and another one in the works.

Last night we got to see them rock the house for a private audience and play some old favorites as well as a new song Gillian wrote just for this gig.

These girls are RAD!
