so stunned to wake up at 6 AM to friends texting, calling and emailing us about a tsunami warning here at the beach... So sorry to hear about the 8.9 earthquake in Japan and the tsunami there - just devastating...
We have sirens that go off to warn us if a tsunami is coming - from what I am hearing it should be around 8:40 AM if it hits here. Some people in my neighborhood are packing things just in case. We are staying put as they now think the wave surge will be smaller.
We live 3.5 blocks from water so I think it will be OK. Stay safe everyone!
