California Style

Gotta love Christina's laid back, cool girl, California style.  She works with me when I come down to San Diego on shoots and she never fails to inspire me with her awesome mix of apparel, accessories and shoes. 

We were shooting on a golf course so we had to wear sneakers, khaki's and shirts with collars - this is her take on that look and I love it! From the striped, velvety Zara coat, (forget it girls, she got it in Italy!) to the Current/Elliott cropped pants, all the way down to the Burberry slip-on's, and then the awesome tangled "surfer girl" hair, she is one rad chick.

She also designs clothes - so as soon as she whips up some new stuff I will let you know. One of my friends and I already have standing orders for a coat just like that one!

I was out in Greensboro, Georgia all last week styling pro golfers, Sergio Garcia, Justin Rose, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Natalie Gulbis, Paula Creamer & Jessica Corda for a big TaylorMade/Adidas golf shoot. It's a rad crew of people I have had the pleasure of working with for almost 14 years now!

We always have an amazing time - we work hard and play hard, and Georgia is absoluetly beautiful (but so humid!) this time of year. The 3 of us girls - Renee, who does hair & make-up, myself and Stefanie, my LA assistant stay in a house by the lake & we have the best time hanging out together at night after the shoot day is done. 


We experienced everything from a lightning & hail storm (so weird when it's that hot!), to fried macaroni & cheese at lunch, to learning that if you say "bless her heart" it really means something negative (like "what an idiot"), that you have to buy  liquor at a state liquor store (not the grocery store like in LA) and that they are closed on Sundays, that southern hospitality is alive and well and  gentlemen always open doors for the ladies. Gotta love the south!

Up In The Air

Flying out to Chicago for another shoot today. Going to be a week of shooting golf with some of my favorite PGA and LPGA players. Bummer I don't look as good in golf attire as they do!

Sneak Preview

Sneak peak of the Aquascutum Golf Collection shoot I worked on. 

Aquascutum is a British Luxury line and this is the debut of their new golf collection and partnership with professional golfer Adam Scott.

This was one of those shoots I love. Working with Adam was easy, he is super sweet, has that charming Australian accent, looks like a fashion model, is an amazing golfer and the clothes were absolutely gorgeous so the shoot was pretty much a dream job.

More images later this summer when they are released - I can't wait to see them!
