Bliss In A Blanket

When the rain hit LA last week and it started getting chilly, I ran over to West Elm and picked up one of these luscious (and warm) faux fur throws. Best item I have purchased in awhile. I could spend all day wrapped up in that thing... It's like a cocoon of bliss. I could go on and on, but you get the idea.

Alice Waters x Dosa

After a very rainy Sunday morning here in LA the sun came out just in time to buzz over to the Dosa x Alice Waters party, benefiting Alice's "Edible Schoolyard Project", in downtown LA. Always a fun party, great food (when the menu is prepared by renowned chef, Alice Waters, how could it not be?), interesting people, beautiful Dosa clothing by Christina Kim, and a spectacular setting.

Dork Moment #1: asking Alice if she would mind speaking to my friend (via my cell phone) who is a huge foodie, but could not be there. Yeah I know, highly embarrassing but he loved it!

Dork moment #2:  I also ran into the talented and ultra cool, Nina Garduno who designs/owns the Free City line and forgot her name! Nice...  Check out the prior post on her clothing line and her rad store HERE
