Wrangler: Texas Style

Just got back from a week long Wrangler shoot in Decatur, Texas (population 5,032). So different than where I live. Everything closes at 5 PM, the hot spot on Fri/Sat nights is Chili's bar, the girls are gorgeous and kick ass, people are super nice (although they do like to warn you to get out of California as soon as possible), 4 wheel drives are actually used for just that, having a bull charge at your crew is no big deal, horses trying to buck you off is "normal", fried pickles are better than french fries, 19 yr old girls driving trucks with horse trailers behind them is expected, tornado's are nothing to be messed with, dogs sleep outside - not inside, a little dirt never hurt anyone, and 3 year old's ride better than you do.

I missed the rodeo while I was there - which I was bummed about, but seeing Trevor Brazile in action, up close while shooting made up for that 10x over.  I had a great time with the whole Wrangler crew, met some wonderful people and am now addicted to sweet tea, Wrangler Rock 47 jeans, cowboy boots and bleached out denim shirts.

I may just have to move to Texas...

It's weird. I have heard so much about Texas, yet have never so much as contemplated visiting there...until now. I just love these pictures, Cindy - it's like you exposed the true heart of Texas to the world. I need to pay a visit! :)
