Basketball / /Bondage
Sometimes I am out and about and see the coolest, random shit. Saturday I stopped by Opening Ceremony to check things out and stumbled across this masterpiece by Fleet Ilya. Have no idea why you'd need a "Basketball Cage", but it looks cool as hell. So pony up $640 and take it on over to the B Ball court and see what happens. Available Here.

Life is Beautiful / Mr. Brainwash Art Show
Photos by Cindy Whitehead & Ian Logan
Made
it over to the "Life is Beautiful" art show by well known street artist, Thierry Guetta, aka Mr. Brainwash today. If
you saw Banksy's "Exit Through the Gift Shop" then you know who Mr.
Brainwash is. This show was 80,000 square feet of pure street art and I
left there totally inspired. In fact I could go back again as I am sure
I missed a ton of stuff - there was cool art everywhere.
And
yes, that is a very blurry picture of me with Mr. Brainwash. Stoked to
have met him - he was there for a nano second and I grabbed him to chat.
Did you really think I wouldn't?
If you are in Los Angeles area check it out

Noah's Ark
We headed down to Olvera Street in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday to check out the 81st annual "Blessing of the Animals". People bring everything from fish to llamas to have them blessed by the Archbishop.
This year was crazy. The cow covered in a blanket of flowers that leads the parade, collapsed 2 minutes in (heat and pregnancy they said) and had to be placed on a flatbed cart to lead the parade the rest of the way (the cow is symbolic and they were not proceeding with out her), a goat kept attacking a llama and trying to milk from it, turtles, snakes, fish and even a basket full of kittens were carried by people of all ages, Chihuahuas were everywhere and of course were barking up a storm at every animal they came across. All and all a fun but crazy afternoon.
Oh yeah and poor Ian got pooped on big time by a huge bird. But that's good luck right?
